star this property answer text <p>The Office for National Statistics already publishes a comprehensive set of data on Civil Servants in each Government Department on an annual basis in October. This includes average salaries and any existing pay gaps by gender.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has published draft regulations, under the Equality Act 2010, for the gender pay gap reporting requirements. These regulations remain in draft until they are approved by Parliament.</p><p> </p><p>Under these draft regulations, employers with 250 or more employees have to publish information relating to the gender pay gap in their organisation within a 12 months period ending with the snapshot date of 5 April each year.</p><p> </p><p>The Department will meet any requirements on gender pay gap reporting placed upon it.</p><p> </p> more like this

The service can be accessed by telephone on 0300 456 3565 or via webchat, email, Twitter, Facebook and YouTube. There are 39 Growth Hubs across England which join up local and national business support for businesses in their area. Northamptonshire businesses have access to the Northamptonshire Growth Hub and South East Midland’s Velocity. The Midlands Engine Investment Fund, due to be launched in 2017 (subject to final funding arrangements), is expected to provide over £250m of support to the region’s 460,000 smaller businesses. star this property answer text <p>The Groceries Code Adjudicator Act 2013 established the Groceries Code Adjudicator (GCA) and gave the GCA powers to enforce the Groceries Supply Code of Practice which regulates aspects of the relationship between the 10 largest grocery retailers and their direct suppliers. These powers allow the GCA to:</p><ul><li>investigate complaints from any source about how supermarkets treat their suppliers;</li><li>make recommendations to retailers if a complaint is upheld;</li><li>require retailers to publish details of a breach of the code;</li><li>impose a fine on the retailer up to a maximum of 1% of their annual turnover; and</li><li>arbitrate disputes between retailers and supplier.</li></ul> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government amended the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003 in January 2015 and further in May 2016, to require employment agencies and employment businesses to advertise both specific and generic roles in English, in Great Britain, at the same time or up to 28 days before advertising in another European Economic Area (EEA) Member State.</p><p>For skilled workers from outside the EEA, the Immigration Rules already incorporate a resident labour market test (with exemptions for some roles). This requires the recruiter to place two adverts in the UK for 28 days to ensure that there are no suitable workers already in the UK, before a visa can be obtained for the worker.</p> more like this
