This sets out that the first consent decision will be taken in the two months before the end of the first four-year period after the end of the implementation period.</p><p> </p><p>If the Assembly votes by simple majority against continued alignment, then Northern Ireland’s alignment with EU law will come to an end two years later. If the Assembly votes in favour of continued alignment, then Northern Ireland’s alignment with EU law will continue.</p><p> </p><p>If this decision is made on the basis of a simple majority, a further consent decision will be required within four years. The New Decade, New Approach agreement contains important commitments for the Northern Ireland Executive to progress on supporting and promoting Ulster-Scots language and culture.</p><p>In reserved areas, such as broadcasting, the Government is committed to supporting Ulster- Scots as appropriate, and has ensured that the BBC Framework Agreement includes a specific clause which provides a clear commitment for the BBC to continue to deliver output in Ulster- Scots, and provides funding for the Ulster-Scots Broadcasting Fund (USBF).</p><p>The Government has also itself committed, under the New Decade, New Approach agreement, to supporting discussions with NI Screen to explore how the remit of the Ulster USBF can be broadened, and will increase funding to reflect any broadened remit. This includes Government backed loans and direct support for wages, which are available to hauliers.</p><p> </p><p>In Northern Ireland, this is supplemented by additional support for businesses from the NI Executive following significant increases of approximately £1.2bn in the spending power of the Executive to enable it to respond to Covid-19. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/05/2020 answer text <p>Abortion services are now a matter for the Department of Health in Northern Ireland.</p><p>I am pleased that some service provision has commenced through existing sexual and reproductive health services in the Belfast, Northern and Western Trust areas. Information on these services is available through the Informing Choices NI helpline and the Central Booking Service.</p><p>I hope that longer-term services can be commissioned as soon as possible in the current circumstances, consistent with the Regulations we made.</p><p>The Abortion (Northern Ireland) Regulations 2020 which were laid in March have now been replaced with the Abortion (Northern Ireland) (No. 2) Regulations 2020 , which were laid in the House today. These regulations come into effect on 14th May and revoke the earlier regulations. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/06/2020 answer text <p>The Government set out its approach to implementing the Ireland and Northern Ireland Protocol on 20 May. This paper reaffirms the Government’s commitment, first made in the<em> New Decade, New Approach</em> agreement to provide unfettered access for Northern Ireland’s businesses to the rest of the UK. We will legislate to guarantee unfettered access for Northern Ireland businesses to the whole of the UK internal market, and ensure this legislation is in force by 1 January 2021.</p><p> </p><p>On movements from the rest of the UK to Northern Ireland, we will not levy tariffs on goods remaining within the UK customs territory.
