star this property answer text <p>Local authorities have a duty to provide support to unaccompanied asylum seeking children, as they would to any other looked after child. Where the age of a person is uncertain and there are reasons to believe that the person is a child, that person is presumed to be a child in order to receive immediate access to assistance, support and protection. Local authorities may only conduct an age assessment where there is significant reason to doubt that the claimant is a child. This assessment must adhere to standards established within case law.</p><p>The Government does not hold any data on numbers of child asylum applicants refused support by local authorities.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Government does not have a role in the approval of the content of election addresses.</p><p>Royal Mail is responsible for checking that candidates' election addresses meet Royal Mail's conditions of carriage and candidates' legal responsibilities. Royal Mail's guidance sets out its aim to approve or request changes to artwork within 48 hours of receipt.</p><p>However, it remains the party's or candidate's responsibility to ensure that the content of their election addresses complies with the law.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>As of 3 April 2014 four Frigates are deployed in UK waters or overseas on operational tasks and six are engaged in training or work up periods. The remaining three Frigates are in refit. We do not release the details of the ammunitions carried by deployed ships as to do so would, or would be likely to prejudice the capability, effectiveness or security of the Armed Forces. I can however, confirm that all Royal Navy ships deploy with the ammunitions and personnel required to undertake their operational tasking.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p> </p><p>Canals and rivers are an important asset for tourism and recreation, which the Government aims to protect and promote. According to The Association of Inland Navigation Authorities (AINA), in 2011 there were 873.8 million visits to waterways around Britain, 23.4 million of which were to visit a specific attraction. There were 293.2 million visits for leisure walking and 234.5 million visits for dog walking, making walking by far the most popular activity participated in.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The majority of Britain's waterways are managed by the Canal and River Trust (CRT) which is funded by Defra. One of the key objectives on which this funding depends is ensuring public access, including for recreation and tourism. The land managed by the CRT includes 3148km of towpaths, all of which are open to the public, and a number of monuments and historic sites including 5 UNESCO world heritage sites.</p><p> </p> more like this
