star this property answer text <p>In December 2015 Government published Sporting Future, which set out a new vision for a successful and active sporting nation, where people of all ages and backgrounds can enjoy the benefits that sport and physical activity can provide, at every stage in their lives.</p><p> </p><p>The strategy places a clear emphasis on targeting those who are hardest to reach including those from lower socio-economic groups, women and girls, those with a disability, certain BAME groups and older people.</p><p> </p><p>60.7% of adults do the amount of physical activity recommended by the Chief Medical Officer of 150 Minutes a week. While this is encouraging, Sport England will triple its current investment in tackling inactivity to around £250 million, to help drive a more active and healthier nation.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Media payments are a commercial matter for racing and betting and we do not hold specific figures relating to individual Licensed Betting Offices (LBOs). Payment of the Horserace Betting Levy is based on gross profits and not directly linked to the number of LBOs.</p><p> </p><p>On 7 March we laid a Statutory Instrument to reform the current Levy. This includes extending its scope to betting operators based offshore that are selling to consumers in Britain. This will ensure a level playing field for betting operators that are based in Britain and offshore operators, and increase funding for racing.</p> more like this

Organisations are invited to apply and funding is allocated on merit.</p><p>A fund recipient, Heritage Cities are working on augmented reality heritage content in Durham Cathedral. UK Countryside Tours are organising tours throughout England, including in the North East. A number of other national thematic projects will benefit the whole of England.</p><p> </p><p>A second round of successful projects will be announced in the summer.</p> more like this
