	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/07/2021 answer text <p>We have taken action to prevent further damage to our protected blanket bog habitat by bringing forward legislation that will limit burning of vegetation. The Heather and Grass etc. Burning (England) Regulations 2021 came into force on 1 May 2021.</p><p> </p><p>The recently published England Peat Action Plan sets out further measures to restore, protect and manage England's peatlands as part of a package of measures to protect England's landscapes and nature-based solutions.
