Mitigation payments for Tax Year 2018-19 will be made in June 2019 to those with taxable earnings of £27,200 or more. Mitigation payments for Tax Year 2019-20 will be made in June 2020 to those with taxable earnings of £28,193 or more. The UK Shared Prosperity Fund will strengthen the foundations of productivity as set out in our modern Industrial Strategy to support people to benefit from economic prosperity. This new Fund will ensure that investments are targeted effectively to align with the challenges faced by places, creating a fresh opportunity to focus investment according to our own priorities. We are continuing to work on the design and priorities and we will consult widely on the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This will give all interested parties the chance to contribute their views to Government. However, latest figures from the Home Office for all types of terrorism cases (which includes Foreign Terrorist Fighters) show that last year 84 people were tried following charges brought by the CPS for terrorism-related offences, resulting in 76 convictions.
