star this property answer text <p><ins class="ministerial">Farnborough is an important showcase for the UK aerospace sector. The Department does not make estimates of aerospace exports arising as a result of the Farnborough Airshow. However, given the UK’s position as a leading supplier to the world’s aerospace industry, our industry is likely to be a major beneficiary of many of the new orders announced at the Show.</ins></p><p><ins class="ministerial">Recent data from the Aerospace Defence and Security trade association show aerospace exports grew by 12% in 2013 to £25 billion.</ins></p><p><br /><del class="ministerial">There has been significant interest in UK Export Finance’s (UKEF) Direct Lending Facility (DLF) since its enhancements were announced in the Budget. Since it was relaunched on 30 June 2014, the pipeline of potential export contracts has developed and now involves 28 UK-based exporters of varying size and export experience. As it stands, the pipeline has 35 potential export contracts that range from £3m to over £350m. Most importantly, the DLF pipeline is growing.</del></p><p> </p>

This price benefits from upfront reduction of £3/MWh built in on assumption that EdF will be able to share first of a kind costs of EPR reactors across Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C sites. If the final investment decision is not taken on Sizewell C, the Strike Price for Hinkley Point C will be £92.50/MWh in 2012 prices. The Department has not restated the strike price in October 2014 prices.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Ofgem regulates network expenditure through the price control processes, which set out how much the network companies can spend and what can be passed through to consumers over an eight-year period. Network costs are charged to network users on a cost reflective basis to ensure that the networks are built, maintained and operated in an economically efficient way.</p><p>DECC publishes average bill impacts. star this property answer text <p>Ofgem, the regulator for the gas and electricity markets, administers two schemes that assist customers wishing to connect to the gas grid.</p><p>All households are eligible for the Domestic Load Connection Allowance if they are situated within 23 metres of an existing gas distribution network. The cost of the first ten metres of connection on public land is borne by the gas network operator.</p><p>The Assisted Gas Connection Scheme is aimed at consumers who live in fuel poverty. Ofgem announced earlier this year that they would continue with the scheme for the 2013-2021 price control period, with an objective to connect 80,000 new vulnerable households to the gas network. The amount of money available for each connection is capped at a level set by Ofgem to ensure cost-effectiveness of the scheme.</p><p> </p> more like this
