star this property answer text <p>There are a number of arrangements in place; including the Civil Service Code, which refers to an individual’s integrity in putting the obligations of public service above their own personal interests and forms part of the contractual relationship between a Civil Servant and their employer.</p><p> </p><p>Contracts of employment issued to a new member of staff also refer to the subject of Conduct and conflict of interest:</p><p> </p><p>‘As a Civil Servant you are required to conduct yourself in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Service Code, a copy of which is available within the Staff Handbook. It is essential that you are, and are seen to be, honest and impartial in the discharge of your duties. You must not allow your judgement or integrity to be compromised in fact or by reasonable implication. The detailed requirements governing the avoidance of conflicts of interest, the receipt of gifts and hospitality and the standards of conduct expected of you are set out in the Staff Handbook.’</p><p> </p><p>Any Civil Servant who does not adhere to the Civil Service code is liable to disciplinary action including the possibility of dismissal.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, applicants are required to declare previous employment on job applications, so recruiting line managers will be aware of potential conflicts of interest. If a role requires security clearance, then an additional independent check is conducted as part of the security checking process.</p><p> </p><p> </p>

There is one legacy 0845 850 0095 DVLA Drivers Medical Enquiries fax number published on GOV.UK which is retained for legacy reasons in case some literature with this number is still in circulation. Other numbers have transitioned to 0300 numbers which are charged at standard geographic rate (the same as 01 or 02 numbers) and are free as part of &quot;inclusive minute&quot; packages. The driving theory test includes questions about the effects of alcohol on a person's ability to drive. <br> <br> The Department for Transport believes a more effective route to public awareness of the negative effect of alcohol on drivers is through appropriate pre-test training. The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency produces The National Standard for Driver Training that should form the basis of training that approved driving instructors give to their pupils; these include thorough guidance on the appropriate consumption of alcohol prior to driving.</p> more like this

The studies include work on the problems on the A1 north of Newcastle.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Department has commenced conversations with the Scottish Government regarding the offer made as part of the Budget 2014 to extend the study further north into Scotland if the Scottish Government matchfund the costs.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Government expects to report back at Autumn Statement 2014 with solutions to alleviate congestion and tackle the problems on this route.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

The Chancellor announced in this year's Budget that support will be provided for start-up aid for new air routes from the UK's regional airports. The Department for Transport is working with the Treasury to develop guidance that will clarify how the Government will ordinarily expect to interpret the European Union aviation State Aid guidelines on start-up aid, and explain how the funding process will work. </p><p> </p> more like this
