These franchises are due be replaced when they expire in October 2017 and April 2018 respectively. The Department has completed a consultation in respect of the replacement West Midlands franchise, and commenced another in respect of InterCity West Coast in May. The outcomes of those consultations will be used to inform what we ask the operator of the new franchise to provide. This information, including the key challenges and opportunities that the Department has identified for those franchises, will be published in due course.</p><p> </p><p>Neither consultation proposed cutting train services. We expect potential bidders to plan their train services to meet the needs of passengers at the stations they serve considering how best to serve and link markets and improve service reliability. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/07/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>The Government is committed to supporting disabled people to live safely in accommodation suitable to their needs.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>To facilitate the provision of suitable housing in England, the Government is providing £315 million over 5 years for the Care and Support Specialised Housing fund. The main aim of the fund is to support and accelerate the development of the specialised housing market for older people and disabled adults.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Department for Communities and Local Government is providing £785 million between 2011-12 – 2014-15 for the Disabled Facilities Grant which is administered by local authorities in England and provides adaptations to the homes of disabled people to help them to live as independently as possible in their own home.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>We have no plans to require local authorities to provide lists of homes suitable for disabled people. However a number of local authorities maintain 'accessible housing registers', and in London there is a city wide London Accessible Housing Register (<a href="https://www.london.gov.uk/priorities/housing-land/renting-home/london-accessible-housing-register" target="_blank">https://www.london.gov.uk/priorities/housing-land/renting-home/london-accessible-housing-register</a>).<br> <br></p><p><br></p><p>The Government believes it is important that people who require accessible housing are given the right level of priority under a council’s housing allocation scheme, and that councils and social landlords are able to make the best use of affordable housing in their area, including accommodation which is accessible or has been adapted. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/05/2016 answer text <p>The Home Office continues to work closely with police forces to ensure that we are best placed to tackle the threat posed by cyber crime.</p><p>Through the National Cyber Security Programme (NCSP), we invested over £90 million during the last Parliament to bolster the law enforcement response.</p><p>As the Chancellor announced in November, this Government has committed to spending £1.9 billion on cyber security over the next five years, including for tackling cyber crime.</p><p>The Home Office is also supporting the work led by Chief Constable Stephen Kavanagh, the National Policing Lead for Digital Investigation and Intelligence (DII), to build capabilities to combat the full range of digital crime types.
