	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/12/2017 answer text <p>This Government is committed to enabling young disabled people to fulfil their potential and achieve their aspirations. We provide a wide suite of programmes and initiatives to support them, including:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Jobcentre support for schools, which targets young people that schools identify as being at risk of becoming NEET (not in employment, education or training), or who may otherwise be disadvantaged in the labour market – for example those with a health or disability issue.</li><li>The Young Person’s Supported Work Experience programme, which will offer a personally tailored supported work experience opportunity to enable young people (aged 18 – 24) to benefit fully from time in the work place. This proof of concept is being tested in five districts.</li><li>The Local Supported Employment (LSE) proof of concept ‘place and train’ model, which aims to move disabled people into real jobs, at the going rate of pay, with support for both the individual and employer.</li><li>Supported Internships, which, all qualified post-16 education providers in England have been able to deliver Since September 2013. These are personalised study programmes, based primarily at a prospective employer, for young people with complex learning difficulties and/or disabilities.</li><li>Access to Work, which already offers support to disabled people undertaking a number of opportunities that help them to prepare for paid employment, including work experience, apprenticeships, supported internships and traineeships.</li></ul><p>DWP also recognises the value of voluntary work in developing skills which can be transferred into the world of paid work, as well as benefitting local communities and wider society.</p><ul><li>Disabled young people who are claiming Universal Credit can have their weekly work search hours reduced by up to 50 per cent to accommodate voluntary work.</li><li>Those who are receiving Employment and Support Allowance can try out work when this has been agreed beforehand with their work coach, without their benefit being affected. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/01/2023 answer text <p>A range of measures are in place to reduce accident and emergency waiting times in National Health Service hospitals. NHS England has set out a plan to substantially increase capacity and resilience this winter. NHS bed capacity will be increased by the equivalent of at least 7,000 general and acute beds, including a mix of new physical beds and expanding the use of innovative virtual wards to treat patients safely at home.</p><p> </p><p>Our plan for patients set out further urgent action, including £500 million for an Adult Social Care Discharge Fund, helping people get out of hospitals quickly, freeing up beds and reducing long waits in accident and emergency. 	question text	To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, what support she is offering to (a) the Government of the Democratic Republic of Congo, (b) local civil society organisations and (c) humanitarian agencies and NGOs in that country to (i) tackle the drivers of recent violence in Ituri province, (ii) provide security for people in IDP camps and other highly vulnerable groups in Ituri province and (iii) tackle the humanitarian consequences of recent attacks on IDP camps in Ituri province.

	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/02/2022 answer text <p>The UK has condemned the recent attack on Plaine Savo Internally Displaced People (IDP) site in Ituri, including through a UN Security Council Press Statement. The attack exacerbates an already severe humanitarian situation: due to violent attacks by armed groups, at least 864,000 people were displaced in Ituri in 2021 and over half the province's population suffer from acute food insecurity.</p><p>As one of the largest humanitarian donors, the UK has been providing life-saving support to tens of thousands of affected people in Ituri through our funding to UN, NGO and Red Cross partners. This support includes cash transfers, emergency water and sanitation, family tracing and reunification, and sensitising armed actors to their responsibilities under international humanitarian law. We are engaging directly with MONUSCO, the UN peacekeeping mission, on ways to improve the protection of civilians in Ituri province.
