star this property answer text <p>The Work Capability Assessment (WCA) was been designed to take full account of how fluctuating conditions such as multiple sclerosis, affect a claimant’s ability to work. The WCA assesses individuals against a set of functional descriptors not specific conditions, as two people with the same condition can be affected in different ways and gives people the opportunity to explain how their condition varies over time.</p><p> </p><p>The Green Paper published on the 31 October seeks to make a positive change to how we help people with health conditions and disabilities to realise their potential and includes reforms to the WCA.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We have interpreted the question as asking how many women in total were affected by State Pension age equalisation in either the Pensions Act 1995 or the Pensions Act 2011 or the increase in the State Pension age to 66 in the Pensions Act 2011.</p><p>The estimated number of women born between April 1950 and December 1959 who are affected by the changes to State Pension age made in the 1995 and 2011 Pensions Acts is 3.48 million. This figure, rounded to the nearest 10,000, is for Great Britain and is based on DWP calculations using ONS statistics.</p><p /> <br /> more like this
