The Department will be funding the Early Career Framework (ECF) reforms in full. The Spending Review 2019 will set Departmental budgets and confirm the precise funding details for the ECF.</p><p> </p><p>By the time the ECF reforms are fully in place the Department anticipates investing at least an additional £130 million every year to support delivery.</p><p> </p><p>Funding for national roll-out will include funding and guaranteeing 5% off timetable in the second year of teaching for all early career teachers, with funding based on the number of early career teachers a school is supporting. It will also include the creation of high quality curricula and training materials paid for by the Department and available for free. The roll-out will further establish full ECF training programmes, with teachers’ access to programmes funded by the Department. Once fully rolled out, all schools will be able to draw on fully funded and quality assured training and support.</p><p> </p><p>Funding for national roll-out will include funding and guaranteeing 5% off timetable in the second year of teaching for all early career teachers, with funding based on the number of early career teachers a school is supporting. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2020 answer text <p>The Department is investing in a central programme of support for schools to help teachers introduce the new subjects of relationships education (for primary aged pupils), relationships and sex education (for secondary aged pupils) and health education (for all pupils in state-funded schools). This programme will include a new online service, featuring an implementation guide, training materials, and resources that teachers need to teach the new subjects. We are working with expert organisations, schools and teachers to develop this support. UCAS, who own this data, does release figures for applications to School Direct but not applicants, and an applicant can have up to three applications.
