star this property answer text <p>The Primary Medical Care Policy and Guidance Manual for local commissioners managing general practitioner (GP) services is clear on inclusion in registration for GP services. People do not need to provide proof of address to register with a general practice.</p><p> </p><p>We are aware, via Refugee Action, of instances where individual practices may have excluded patients with no documentation from registering with a GP. NHS England are raising these issues with local commissioners to ensure appropriate and targeted action, including training/education, reinforced if required by contractual action, to prevent a recurrence.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>To support the speech, language and communication elements of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP), Public Health England (PHE) is partnering with the Department for Education to develop a model speech, language and communication pathway for services for children aged zero to five years. The pathway is built on the best evidence and good practice and will be published by September 2019. This will support local joint commissioning and service provision.</p><p> </p><p>The ‘Healthy Child Programme 0-19 (HCP): the health visitor and school nurses commissioning guidance’ was refreshed in March 2018 and is available to view at the following link:</p><p> </p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/healthy-child-programme-0-to-19-health-visitor-and-school-nurse-commissioning" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/healthy-child-programme-0-to-19-health-visitor-and-school-nurse-commissioning</a></p><p> </p><p>The guidance supports local commissioning and delivery of the HCP and the delivery of the HCP, including the speech, language and communication elements.</p>

Therefore, the attached data is from the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) dataset only.</p><p> </p><p>IAPT is run by the National Health Service in England and offers National Institute for Health and Care Excellence-approved therapies for treating people with anxiety and depression. Data about the IAPT programme is available from April 2012 and it is therefore not possible to provide data for years prior to this.</p><p> </p><p>The IAPT dataset records whether a referral is for a patient who has been a member of the British Armed Forces (BAF). It is not possible to identify the type of Armed Forces Service that the patient belonged to, or whether the patient was a regular or reserve veteran.</p><p> </p><p>The number of referrals for ex-BAF personnel that have been received, entered treatment and finished a course of treatment for all years up to 2017-18, grouped by the type of diagnosis problem, submitted as an ICD-10 code, are displayed in the attached tables.</p><p> </p><p>NHS Digital does not hold any further information about ex-BAF personnel with mental health problems. star this property answer text <p>On 9 May 2018, the Minister of State for Digital and the Creative Industries (Margot James MP), announced that the Government will be amending the data request arrangements covered under a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between NHS Digital, the Home Office and the Department of Health and Social Care. This would narrow when the Home Office can request non-clinical information from NHS Digital to very limited circumstances.</p><p>The Department commissioned a review from Public Health England (PHE) in 2017 into the impact on public health and health-seeking behaviour of the previous MOU, which was withdrawn on 9 November 2018. The Department has asked PHE to extend their review to provide advice on the potential impact of the narrowed scope of a new MOU. This will be published when it is complete.</p> more like this
