	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government has not undertaken an assessment of the potential benefits of routinely collecting data about the parental responsibilities of anyone diagnosed with a mental health condition.</p><p> </p><p>However, the Government does recognise that parental mental health problems can have an impact on the wellbeing of children within the family and statutory guidance published in July 2018: ‘Working Together to Safeguard Children’ acknowledges that children may be at greater risk of harm or need additional help in families where adults have mental health problems. This includes both physical and mental health. General Practitioner (GP) practices would also signpost patients to debt advice services as part of their care and some practices have arrangements in place with local Citizens Advice Bureaux and debt advice services to provide outreach support in primary care.</p><p> </p><p>In January 2017, my Rt. hon. Friend the Prime Minister announced the Government would review the practice of GPs charging patients experiencing debt issues to complete Mental Health Evidence Forms when they require medical evidence for their creditors. The Department is working with the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute and a range of stakeholders from the financial and debt advice sectors and the British Medical Association to undertake the review.</p><p> </p><p>The Government recognises the impact that debt may have on mental health and wellbeing and the difficulties that may be experienced by people with mental health problems in managing their debt. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/01/2018 answer text <p>It is not possible to identify patients who have paid for non-emergency treatment and who are registered as having no fixed abode within Hospital Episode Statistics.</p><p> </p><p>This Government is concerned about the very poor health among people who experience homelessness and so we are taking action to address the root causes of homelessness. We are implementing an ambitious legislative reform, the Homelessness Reduction Act, which means more people will get the help they need earlier to prevent them from becoming homeless in the first place. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 30/11/2017 answer text <p>On 31 July Health Education England (HEE) published the National Health Service workforce plan for England; setting out concrete steps for delivering 21,000 new posts (professional and allied) across the mental health system, with the expectation that 19,000 of these places would be filled by staff employed directly by the NHS. The plan focuses on both new staff and on improved retention of existing staff, as well as new roles and new models of mental health care. The plan can be found at:</p><p><a href="https://www.hee.nhs.uk/sites/default/files/documents/CCS0717505185-1_FYFV%20Mental%20health%20workforce%20plan%20for%20England_v5%283%29.pdf" target="_blank">https://www.hee.nhs.uk/sites/default/files/documents/CCS0717505185-1_FYFV%20Mental%20health%20workforce%20plan%20for%20England_v5%283%29.pdf</a></p><p>Implementation of the plan is being led by HEE and NHS England working through HEE Regional Leads and the NHS England Sustainability and Transformation Partnerships (STPs) who will need to demonstrate how the workforce plan is being taken into account by STPs as part of their future planning.
