	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/12/2018 answer text <p>In response to the two questions regarding drug strength, I can confirm that:</p><p>(a) the testing and analysis of seized drugs is carried out by forensic service providers and not the National Crime Agency (NCA).</p><p>(b) the National Crime Agency (NCA) does monitor the purity levels and adulteration patterns of certain illegal drugs seized and submitted for forensic analysis in England and Wales, however this does not currently or routinely include the monitoring of cannabis seizures. The NCA provides purity data for other illicit drugs to Focal Point UK who publish this data in their annual report. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/02/2019 answer text <p>Schedule 3 to the Counter-Terrorism and Border Security introduced new powers that would allow ports and border officers to stop, question, search and detain persons at UK ports to determine whether they are or have been engaged in hostile activity.</p><p>The Bill completed its parliamentary passage on Tuesday 22 January but has not yet received Royal Assent. These funds are calculated and paid quarterly in arrears to agencies, as soon as possible after the end of each quarter.</p><p>The safer communities fund is not operated by the Home Office but by local police forces. Section 40(2) allows the Secretary of State to deprive any person of British citizenship, should they deem it conducive to the public good to do so. Section 40(3) allows the Secretary of State to deprive a person who has obtained citizenship by naturalisation or registration, where the Secretary of State is satisfied that citizenship was obtained by means of fraud, false representation or concealment of material fact.</p><p>Three reports have been published to date in 2015, 2017 and 2018, providing figures for section 40(2) deprivations since 2010, this is the deprivation power most likely to be applied to those returning from Syria. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/09/2017 answer text <p>Following referrals from the Counter Terrorism Internet Referral Unit (CTIRU), social media providers have removed 280,000 pieces of illegal terrorist material since February 2010. Between 11 May 2010 and 31 December 2015, the Government excluded 181 people from the United Kingdom, including 69 exclusions on national security grounds.</p><p>There were 26 exclusions made between 1 January 2015 and 31 December 2015. 71 international terrorist organisations and a further 14 in Northern Ireland, have been proscribed. The Government Transparency Report, published on 23 February 2017, showed that the Royal Prerogative had been used to cancel or refuse applications for passports 23 times in 2015. Figures are not yet available for 2016. We estimate that just under half have returned and approximately 15% are now dead. This number includes all those of national security concern, not just those affiliated with Daesh. British Citizens who are investigated and charged with offences relating to the conflict in Syria will be prosecuted in accordance with the Code for Crown Prosecutors.</p><p>Although official figures do not show how many were Syria or Daesh related, Of the 105 persons charged with a terrorism-related offence in the year ending June 2017, 33 had been prosecuted (as at the time of data provision to the Home Office, 14 July 2017), 32 of which were found guilty.
