Treasury ministers engage with the Secretary of State for Education on a regular basis to monitor the Government’s public investment in skills, and the impact it has had on businesses. The Treasury works closely with UKEF to assess the risks to the Exchequer arising from such support. To ensure effective assessments can be made, detailed commercially sensitive information is required.
