star this property answer text <p>The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) has a budget of £20.4m for 2016-17. Budgets for the years 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20 are being finalised by the Department in consultation with the EHRC, and are consistent with the spending review settlement provided to the Department. We expect to be able to confirm budgets for these years shortly.</p><p> </p><p>The EHRC has received sufficient funds to enable it to fulfil its statutory functions. It will continue to do so. It is for the EHRC, as an independent body, to determine the allocation of its overall funding across specific functions.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>In the 2014 Stormont House Agreement, the Government reaffirmed “the need for respect for and recognition of the Irish language in Northern Ireland, consistent with the Council of Europe Charter on Regional or Minority Languages”.</p><p> </p><p>Under the devolution settlement the UK Government retains responsibility for broadcasting, whilst the majority of responsibility for language issues rests with the Northern Ireland Executive, including policy relating to the promotion of minority languages, including Irish. Education is also a devolved matter in Northern Ireland.</p><p> </p><p>In relation to broadcasting, the BBC Charter Review considered the BBC’s contribution to minority language broadcasting. The BBC Framework Agreement includes, for the first time, a specific clause which provides a clear commitment for the BBC to continue to deliver output in the Irish, and Ulster-Scots, language.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has also committed to funding the Irish Language Broadcasting Fund and the Ulster-Scots Broadcasting Fund over this Spending Review period, which are administered through Northern Ireland Screen.</p><p> </p><p> </p>

Individuals are included if they were absent for any part of the month. Where an absence straddles more than one month it is included in each.</p><p> </p><p>The MoJ is committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of all of its employees and to reducing sickness absence levels. The department’s wellbeing strategy, which was launched in November 2015, was designed specifically to reflect the primary causes of sickness absence including mental health. It contains reference to support available to both employees and managers. To coincide with the launch, Directors General in NOMS and MoJ HQ were appointed as senior advocates for attendance management and wellbeing in MoJ.</p>

All CRCs are contractually required to maintain a professional and appropriately skilled workforce to deliver the services set out in their contracts.
