Over £5.5 million has been recovered from those convicted of human trafficking offences in the last five years. Full available details are shown in the following table. <br /><br />A human trafficker may, as an alternative, be charged and prosecuted for a different offence, such as prostitution or money laundering, which could incur a confiscation order. unstar this property answer text <p>Home Office targets for review of historical material are those set by the Public Records Acts as amended by the transition period for the reduction of the ’30 year rule’ to a ’20 year rule’ established in the Constitutional Reform and Governance Act 2010 and its enacting secondary legislation. For 2014, the statutory requirement is for records dated 1985 and 1986 to be transferred to The National Archives by the end of the calendar year. <br><br>The department reports its progress against the requirements of the transition period to The National Archive on a bi-annual basis, which is then published on The National Archive’s website:<br><br>http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/about/record-transfer-report.htm.<br><br>The last report was made in Spring 2014, the next is due this autumn. <br><br>The Home Office has a team of 10 staff engaged in review of its historical records.</p><p> </p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>The unitary charge for the 2 Marsham Street PFI project (the Home Office HQ) from financial year 2014/15 to 2030/31 (when the contract finishes) is estimated to be £883.22 million.<br><br>The unitary charge for the Airwave programme from 2014/15 until 2020 (when the contract finishes) is forecasted to be £872.42 million.<br><br>The Home Office provides revenue support grants to a number of Police and Crime Commissioners (PCCs) who have a PFI project in their force area. unstar this property answer text <p>The data in the following tables is management information collated by the Gangmasters Licensing Authority (GLA). The data relates only to investigations involving the GLA and prosecutions initiated by the GLA in relation to the offences in the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004. The investigations data includes GLA-only investigations as well as those in which GLA have worked jointly with partner agencies (including the police forces, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs, National Crime Agency and the UK Human Trafficking Centre). <br><br>Over time the GLA has undertaken a reduced number of more complex investigations which focus more effectively on serious and organised crime. This reflects a targeting and risk-based enforcement approach by the GLA. Only one GLA-initiated prosecution has ever failed to return a conviction.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this
