Latest figures (relating to July 2015) show that the average processing time for disclosure applications was 14.3 days. The DBS operates to a target to issue 95% of disclosure certificates within 56 days (8 weeks) and in July 95.2% were issued within this time.</p><p>DBS funding for police disclosure units in 2013-14 and 2014-15 is set out in the <del class="ministerial">attached table.</del> <ins class="ministerial">attached table.</ins> Decisions on the operational deployment of resources, including vacancy filling, are matters for Chief Constables in association with Police and Crime Commissioners.</p><p>The DBS is working closely with the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to help reduce the time taken to process disclosure checks for all applicants including taxi drivers in London. Clauses 1 to 4 of the Offensive Weapons Bill which the hon Member has referred to, relate to proportionate restrictions on the sale and delivery of certain acids and other dangerous corrosive chemicals, and are part of a range of measures to provide better protection to people in local communities across the UK<del class="ministerial">. I am continuing to work hard with the parties in Northern Ireland to restore devolved government so that the devolved administration can ensure the appropriate legislative consent is provided. </del><ins class="ministerial">and to enhance public safety. Consideration has been given by Northern Ireland departments and UK Government Ministers to extending these measures in the absence of an Assembly or a Legislative Consent Motion, which can only be granted during the passage of a Bill. The Bill contains separate commencement measures for provisions extending to Northern Ireland which relate to devolved matters. The number of outstanding cases recorded as associated with each Scottish local authority area can be found in Table 2. The figures that have been provided below relate to main applicants who have made an immigration application or an asylum claim between 1 May 2010 - 31 December 2013, and whose claim was recorded as unresolved on 31 December 2013. For data protection purposes, cohorts of fewer than 10 people have been indicated with a *.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The data has been compiled by identifying the latest valid postcode on the Case Information Database (CID). For Scottish postcodes, this was then matched to the ONS Postcode database to associate it with a parliamentary constituency and local authority as far as possible. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/01/2015 answer text <p>The Home Department does not hold centrally details of expenditure on recruitment agency fees so this information could only be obtained at disproportionate cost. Expenditure on outplacement agency fees for displaced or <br>redundant staff for the financial years prior to 2014/15 was not held centrally and could only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
