	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/09/2021 answer text <p>The Government is committed to ensuring that elections are accessible for all those eligible to vote.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>To that end, the Government has introduced a number of measures to support the accessibility of elections in the recently introduced Elections Bill, such as removing restrictions on who can act as a companion to support voters with disabilities and placing a broader requirement for Returning Officers to consider the needs of all disabled voters when providing equipment for polling stations.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>Specifically on issues related to sight loss, we were pleased to be able to carry out some testing of accessible voting solutions for blind and partially sighted electors with the RNIB and Broadland District Council at the recent elections in May, and we are currently considering our next steps. We will continue to work with the RNIB and other interested groups in taking this forward and have already talked with RNIB about looking at the postal vote system to see how and where that can be improved to support engagement.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>We also continue to work with the members of the Accessibly of Elections Working Group, including the Electoral Commission, the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives and the Association of Electoral Administrators. There is no separate budget for the Clearing House.</p><p>The Cabinet Office does not routinely capture data on the number of requests which are referred to the Clearing House. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/01/2022 answer text <p>We are continuing to work with a range of stakeholders including disabled people’s charities and organisations, alongside our Access to Work Stakeholder Forums in England, Scotland and Wales to inform the development of the Adjustments Passport. As a result, a number of Adjustments Passport pilots are already underway including the freelancers and contractors pilot which began in May 2021, and the universities pilot which commenced in November 2021.</p><p> </p><p>We will continue to work with stakeholders during 2022 to inform the further development of the Adjustment Passport pilots. The Armed Forces service leavers pilot and various Department for Education programmes supporting young disabled people are due to be rolled out in Spring 2022.</p><p> </p><p>The findings from the pilots will used to inform future development and implementation. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/01/2022 answer text <p>Following the Access to Work communication campaign in early 2021, and our findings from a thorough evaluation, we have taken a number of steps to continue to raise awareness of the scheme amongst people with a disability or long-term health condition.</p><p>We frequently promote the scheme through the Department’s social media channels, and have introduced specific Access to Work pages on the JobHelp website (to maximise reach via our Jobhelp TV campaign), and on gov.uk. We monitor web traffic and optimise our plans accordingly.</p><p>We have also sought to ensure advisers who work with potential service users have the infomation and tools to act as advocates for the scheme. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/02/2022 answer text <p>Access to Work regularly engages with almost one hundred organisations supporting disabled people through stakeholder forums nationwide such as; Mencap, Disability Rights UK, Royal National Institute of Blind People, Scope, National Autistic Society, National Deaf Children’s Society and Leonard Cheshire Disability.</p><p> </p><p>To ensure the individual passports meet the needs of the user we have broadened our stakeholder network, and worked with other government departments, including the Department for Education and the Ministry of Defence, and their stakeholders, to further strengthen the development of the Adjustment Passport.
