unstar this property answer text <p> </p><p>The Electoral Commission informs me that Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) are responsible for maintaining the electoral register in their local areas. The Electoral Commission supports them in this work in a number of ways, including by targeting its performance standards to help ensure that they understand the particular challenges in their registration area and develop plans to address these and improve registration rates.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Commission refers the hon. gentleman to its earlier reply of 29 January 2014 in which it outlined the steps it was taking to register attainers.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>It is not possible to isolate registration form downloads from the Commission's <a href="http://www.aboutmyvote.co.uk/" target="_blank">www.aboutmyvote.co.uk</a> website by demographic, however it does regularly review what media channels are most used by attainers, for example Video On Demand (VOD). This ensures that its campaigns are targeted as effectively as possible.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
