	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2019 answer text <p>The Government takes the conservation of endangered species seriously, with imports of hunting trophies into the UK subject to strict controls under the EU Wildlife Trade Regulations.</p><p> </p><p>The UK has adopted stricter national measures for three species, including tigers, than those set out in CITES and in European legislation. The import and export of live wild taken specimens and tiger parts and derivatives, including hunting trophies, is banned.</p><p> </p><p>The UK is also continuing to work hard on the international stage to agree tough, transparent, global standards on trophy hunting to make sure hunting safeguards are of the highest standard and there is no impact on the sustainability of the species concerned. We will continue to discuss this with other countries.</p><p> </p><p>The Government hosted a stakeholder roundtable in May to hear views from all sides of the debate surrounding trophy hunting. Part of its strategy includes ensuring Universal Credit transactions are secure, including tackling loopholes fraudsters may seek to exploit, which sadly can target some of our most vulnerable claimants.</p><p> </p><p>It is, however, important to recognise that the vast majority of advances on Universal Credit are legitimate and ensure those in need of financial support get the help they need during their transition to Universal Credit.</p><p> </p><p>All claims where fraud may have been committed are investigated. We are committed to the use of penalties such as prosecutions and tough financial penalties, where appropriate, to discourage this fraudulent behaviour. The Department considers all cases on their own merits and decisions are made on the strength of the evidence provided.</p><p> </p><p>Additionally, we have a dedicated team of investigators to address this issue, and are working with Social Media sites to shut down posts which promote this fraud. The Department also operates a policy of explicit consent to help reduce the risk of fraud by ensuring that our claimants’ data is kept safe from unscrupulous organisations and individuals.</p><p> </p><p>The Department is also raising awareness of this issue through a campaign being run on social media to remind people of the importance of safeguarding their identity. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 03/09/2019 answer text <p>HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) appointed De La Rue as the UK ID Issuer for the tobacco track and trace scheme following a comprehensive external commercial exercise.</p><p> </p><p>The audit requirements are set out in the Tobacco Products Directive (2014/40/EU) and implemented through the Tobacco Products (Traceability and Security Features) Regulations 2019. The regulations require De La Rue and their sub-contractors to provide HMRC with an annual declaration to ensure compliance with the independence criteria. The proposal was to grant further education corporations, sixth form college corporations and higher education corporations in England the flexibility to decide whether to offer the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) to all or some eligible new employees. These are independent, autonomous institutions and any alternative pension arrangements which they may offer would be determined by them through the appropriate industrial relations machinery.</p><p>The Department is considering responses to the consultation and a response will be published in due course.</p><p>My Department does not collect the demographic and income data requested.
