	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/06/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>Sections 24 and 24A of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 place a duty on <br>registration officers to submit a report to the Home Office where they have <br>reasonable grounds to suspect that a marriage or civil partnership is a sham <br>being entered into for immigration purposes. Table 1 shows the <br>number of section 24/24A reports received in each year since 2009. Same sex <br>marriages only came into effect this year there is therefore no data relating <br>to this period, or for civil partnerships before 2011.<br><br><br><br>The Home Office Intelligence Management System (IMS) records allegations from <br>the public regarding immigration-related offences. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/06/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>In 2013 the UK National Referral Mechanism (NRM) received 1,746 referrals of <br>potential victims of trafficking. However, trafficking is a covert crime and <br>victims are often hidden, making it difficult to establish the true scale of <br>the issue.<br><br>The National Crime Agency's UK Human Trafficking Centre publishes an annual <br>assessment of the number of victims of human trafficking. The most recent <br>assessment was published in August 2013 and can be found on the NCA website <br>(www.nationalcrimeagency.gov.uk).<br><br>The Government is determined to lead the global fight against human trafficking <br>(including modern slavery), and has introduced the Modern Slavery Bill. The <br>Bill will give law enforcement the tools to stamp out modern slavery, and <br>enhance protection for victims. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/06/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>It is a statutory requirement that social housing meets the Decent Homes <br>Standard as defined in the Housing Act 2004.<br><br>All COMPASS contracts incorporate the requirements of the Decent Home Standards <br>for social housing as part of the contractual performance management <br>arrangements and are robustly monitored through three key performance <br>indicators which relate specifically to property standards. <br><br>Providers are required to inspect all properties on a monthly basis or at the <br>point when a service user first occupies the property.
