We do not have any evidence to suggest that Yezidi women are being trafficked outside of Iraq and Syria. In addition, all immigration removal centres have communicable disease contingency plans, based on PHE advice. Measures such as protective isolation and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) are being used to minimise the risk of COVID-19 spreading to vulnerable groups in immigration removal centres.</p><p>Basic hygiene is a key part of tackling COVID-19. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/11/2017 answer text <p>The Department has not conducted a specific assessment of the impact of mental health crisis care units on reducing pressure on accident and emergency departments.</p><p> </p><p>The Mental Health Crisis Care Concordat made it clear that a wide range of agencies and services, including hospital emergency departments, should be involved in the development of local plans to ensure that people experiencing a mental health crisis have access to urgent and emergency care.</p><p> </p><p>We are making £247 million available to make sure that every emergency department has a liaison mental health team in place, and that by 2020 at least half of England’s acute hospitals will have these services available at a standard defined by the Royal College of Psychiatrists as ‘Core 24’, meaning that clinical support is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.</p><p> </p><p>NHS England published guidance last year on Achieving Better Access to 24/7 Urgent and Emergency Mental Health Care, which sets out that liaison mental health teams will play a vital role in ensuring that people experiencing a mental health crisis will have access to appropriate care to meet their needs.</p> answering member printed Lord O'Shaughnessy question first answered 15/11/2017 17:18:41 answering member 4545 label Biography information for Lord O'Shaughnessy

	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/03/2024 answer text <p>Rolls-Royce Small Modular Reactor (RRSMR) was given a grant of £210m in the Low-Cost Nuclear award in 2021 and is one of six selected technologies, in the first phase of the Great British Nuclear Technology Selection Process aiming to identify technologies best able to reach a project Final Investment Decision by the end of 2029 and deliver projects in the mid-2030s.</p><p> </p><p>In April 2022, the regulators began a Generic Design Assessment (GDA) looking at the safety, security, and environmental impact of the RRSMR reactor design. At the UN Security Council in June, the UK's Permanent Representative reiterated the UN Secretary General's call for the violence to end and for all actors to stop attacks against civilians. At the UN Human Rights Council this month, the UK called for an end to violence and impartial investigations to hold the perpetrators of human rights violations and abuses to account. The former Minister for Africa iterated these calls during his visit to Cameroon in March. HMG also urges the Government of Cameroon to engage fully with the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.</p><p>The Government's approach is clear that using trade to support development and prosperity is not mutually exclusive to the rule of law, protecting human rights, and democratic principles. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/11/2014 answer text <p>My Department funds UKRefugesOnline a UK-wide database of domestic violence services which supports the national 24 hour free phone domestic violence helpline. This service enables those working with victims of domestic violence to identify appropriate services and potential refuge vacancies around the country so that victims can get the help they need as quickly as possible.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In terms of government records, such information has never been centrally held. Refuges are not commissioned at a national level, and are generally either provided by local authorities or by independent voluntary sector organisations. To start recording the number and location would involve creating a new monitoring and data reporting regime on local government. It is the broader policy of the Coalition Government to try to reduce the burden of data reporting on local government, as it costs taxpayers’ money and diverts resources away from frontline services.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>More broadly, this Government has secured £6.5 billion investment to help vulnerable people through housing related support. This forms a key element of refuge funding through local authority commissioned services.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>We have also allocated £40 million of funding for specialist local domestic and sexual violence support services until 2015. This funding is used to part-fund 54 multi-agency risk assessment conference co-ordinators and 144 independent domestic violence advisers.
