However, this does not include the Guild Money Credit Union. Carer’s Allowance staff entering into arrangements with the Guild Money Credit Union should therefore arrange their payments through other methods such as direct debit through their bank or building society. more like this

star this property answer text Personal Independence Payment, Disability Living Allowance and Attendance Allowance are universal benefits that help with the extra costs arising from a long-term health condition or disability. Spending on these benefits increased by over £2 billion over the course of the last parliament and we expect to be spending over £21 billion this year. We would expect individuals to be accessing the relevant support services, regardless of benefit receipt and do not expect the reforms to disability benefits to impact health services. We have also set up the Work and Health Joint Unit with the Department of Health to improve health and employment outcomes for claimants. more like this

star this property answer text Draft Universal Credit (Managed Migration Pilot and Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2019 were laid in Parliament on 14 January 2019, to introduce provision for those claimants who were in receipt of the Severe Disability Premium (SDP) and who moved on to Universal Credit following a change in their circumstances. These regulations will provide both an on-going monthly payment to eligible claimants who have already lost the SDP as a consequence of moving to Universal Credit, and an additional lump sum payment to cover the period since they moved. These regulations are subject to parliamentary debate and approval before they come in to force. more like this
