	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/01/2015 answer text <p /> <p>From April 2010 Local Criminal Justice Boards (LCJBs) took responsibility for the governance and performance management of the 143 accredited Specialist Domestic Violence Courts (SDVCs) across England and Wales. As of March 2014 there were 137 accredited SDVCs. However, the closure of SDVCs in some areas does not necessarily mean that provision in that area has ceased, as many of the SDVC systems cover a number of courthouses. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/02/2015 answer text <p /> <p>Legal aid in England and Wales is available to victims of domestic violence where they need it to help break free from the abusive relationship. Access to legal aid for protective injunctions to prevent domestic violence remains identical to that prior to the legal aid reforms. These matters continue to be funded without the need for evidence. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/01/2015 answer text <p /> <p>The First-tier Tribunal (Social Security and Child Support), administered by HM Courts &amp; Tribunals Service (HMCTS), hears appeals against Department for Work and Pensions’ (DWP) decisions on a range of benefits, including a person’s entitlement to Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and Disability Living Allowance (DLA).</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p>The number of individuals living in the Motherwell and Wishaw constituency who applied for PIP and the outcomes of those applications, between April 2013 and July 2014, can be found in published DWP statistics available at: https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/personal-independence-payment-april-2013-to-july-2014.</p><p> </p><p>HMCTS does not keep data on the proportion of benefit claimants who choose to appeal the DWP’s final decision. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/11/2014 answer text <p /> <p>The Government is creating, in the Criminal Justice and Courts Bill, a new criminal offence which targets those who disclose private sexual photographs and films without the consent of the person depicted and with intent to cause that person distress.</p><p> </p><p>The provisions to create the new offence were tabled as a Government Amendment at Lords Report stage of the Bill on 20 October and were warmly received and supported across the House.</p><p> </p><p>The offence will cover the disclosure of private and sexual photographs or films of individuals who have not consented to this disclosure, such as those of them engaged in sexual activity, depicted in a sexual way, or with their genitals exposed, where what is shown would not usually be seen in public. It will apply to disclosures taking place online and offline. As the case illustrates, it is already possible for a civil action to be brought to protect the privacy of children. The remedies available include damages for the breach of privacy and an injunction to prevent any further publication.
