star this property answer text <br /><br /><p>All radioactive waste arising from the decommissioning of nuclear-powered submarines at Rosyth will be transported off-site either for recycling, direct disposal, or storage in an interim storage facility as part of the Submarine Dismantling Project.</p><p>For certain components, a temporary holding facility may be required on site; this short-term holding and all other activities will be fully regulated by nuclear safety and environmental regulators.</p> more like this

PSS provides DE&amp;S with critical technical support, while also using that support to design and develop the tools and processes required to upskill staff and transform the organisation.</p><br /><p>Expenditure on PSS (£227 million in FY 2014-15 included in the table above) was previously assigned to the Equipment Programme, but moved to the Professional Services category following the creation of the Bespoke Trading Entity.</p><br /><br /> <br /> <br /><br />

The government will dedicate 1.2% of its growing Defence budget to the Defence Science and Technology Programme, the centralised research budget, under the Department's Chief Scientific Adviser.</p> more like this
