	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/01/2018 answer text <p>The UK, as part of the EU, is currently a member of around 40 EU trade agreements covering over 55 countries; one such country is Israel. After leaving the EU, the UK will be able to implement an independent trade policy. This would make it possible to revisit and improve existing agreements where appropriate.</p><p> </p><p>Defra does not currently cooperate on agricultural research programmes with Israel bilaterally. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/12/2017 answer text <p>The Government remains of the view that decisions on the use of pesticides should be based on a careful scientific assessment of the risks. Pesticides that carry unacceptable risks to pollinators should not be authorised.</p><p> </p><p>Three neonicotinoids are currently subject to restrictions which normally prohibit their use on a number of crops. The UK has fully implemented these restrictions. A number of public bodies fund broader research into pest control chemicals, biological controls and cultural methods. This includes funding from Innovate UK through mechanisms including the Agri-Tech Catalyst, which helps develop innovative solutions to challenges in crop production. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/06/2018 answer text <p>There are already furs that cannot be imported onto the UK, including cat and dog fur and products, and seal skins and products from commercial hunts.</p><p>The Treaty on the Functioning of the EU (TFEU) places restrictions on the introduction of measures that impair the free movement of goods within the EU market.</p><p>Where there are EU harmonising measures relevant to the movement of fur – including the Animal By-Products Regulation in respect of untreated fur and the Seal Products Regulation – any derogation from those in the form of a national restriction would need to meet the requirements of Article 114 TFEU or any specific safeguard measure included in the harmonising legislation. The pathogen for the syndrome has yet to be confirmed, and as there is no diagnostic test for the syndrome in living dogs, there are currently no plans to make CRGV a notifiable disease.
