	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/10/2016 answer text <p>The Home Office has made no specific assessment of the correlation between people who commit crimes against animals and go on to commit crimes against the person.</p><p>In March this year the Government published the Modern Crime Prevention Strategy. The strategy sets out the evidence that points to six key drivers of crime: drugs; alcohol; the effectiveness of the Criminal Justice System; character (or an individual’s propensity to offend); opportunity; and profit. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/11/2017 answer text <p>Frontex, the European Border and Coast Guard Agency, builds on provisions of the Schengen agreement in which the UK does not participate. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/11/2017 answer text <p>The UK continues to provide resource to EASO to help Member States whose asylum and reception systems are under pressure.</p><p> </p><p>Last year, the Government took a decision not to opt in to the proposed EU Agency for Asylum, which will replace EASO. Written Ministerial Statement HCWS373 of 16 December refers. Until EASO is replaced, we remain a full member, maintaining voting rights at the management board and playing a strong role in influencing EU asylum policy. While the UK remains a member of the EU, we will continue to remain fully engaged in EU discussions on migration and security. Leaders in the UK and Ireland have confirmed their commitment to protecting these rights enjoyed by UK and Irish nationals when in the other State.</p><p>As outlined in the UK Government policy paper released on 26 June, relating to the rights of EU citizens living in the UK, we want to protect the rights enjoyed by UK and Irish nationals when in the other State. The Prevention of Social Housing Fraud Act 2013 increased the deterrent to tenants considering cheating the system, ensuring those who do cheat are detected more easily and punished more severely, and encourages social landlords to take a more proactive approach to tackling tenancy fraud.</p><p>We also provided £19 million funding to help councils tackle tenancy fraud as part of over £35 million government funding to tackle fraud across local government.</p><p>We have recently set up a Right to Buy Working Group with representative of housing associations, local authorities and lenders to identify additional safeguards to curb fraud when the Voluntary Right to Buy scheme is rolled out to 1.3 million housing association tenants.
