star this property answer text <p>All costs associated with the planning of referendum public information activity are contained within the costs published on 6<sup>th</sup> April (2016).</p><p> </p><p>Cabinet Office asked independent polling company TNS to carry out a survey in March (2016). This poll found showed that 85% of the public wanted more information on the EU referendum from the Government. TNS published this poll on their website.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Ministers wrote to universities, Further Education and sixth form colleges to encourage them to promote registration among their students ahead of the Referendum. The Government used social media to support initiatives such as Universities UK’s ‘student action week’ and shared the Electoral Commission’s publicly available materials at no additional cost to the public purse.
