	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 27/10/2014 answer text <p>The UK is working with other EU Member States to address the migration pressures in the Mediterranean described in the report, in particular through the EU’s Task Force Mediterranean. This was discussed most recently at the JHA Council on 9 October. We believe it is important to find solutions which address the root causes and do not encourage even greater numbers of people to undertake dangerous journeys. Efforts under the Task Force Mediterranean should therefore be primarily focused on improving border security and asylum processes in Member States, disrupting the activities of people smugglers and putting in place stronger cooperation on migration issues with source and transit countries. To date, these units have restrained or confiscated more than £120 million of stolen funds. The Government is reviewing the overall coordination and effectiveness of the UK’s enforcement response to cases of bribery and corruption. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/10/2014 answer text <p>The methodology for HM Inspectorate of Constabulary’s (HMIC) new all-force inspection programme (PEEL programme – police effectiveness, efficiency and legitimacy) is currently in development. A public consultation on the proposed methodology ran from 30 June to 12 September 2014, and HMIC will publish its response in January 2015. Fieldwork for the roll-out of the new full inspection programme is due to begin in January 2015.</p><p> </p><p>The PEEL assessment for 2014/15 will draw predominantly on fieldwork and data from thematic inspections that the Inspectorate has conducted over the last 12 months, including its forthcoming inspection report on Police Integrity and Corruption. The Tier 2 rules allow for periods of unpaid leave of up to one month in every 12 month period. A list of these areas is provided in the table below. The Modern Slavery Bill includes a requirement for all public authorities to cooperate with the advocate. As this is not in force we have agreed with all 23 local authorities in the trial that they will cooperate with the advocate. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/10/2014 answer text <p>The need to tackle cyber crime was identified as a key objective of the Government’s Cyber Security Strategy, which is underpinned by £860 million of funding over five years through the National Cyber Security Programme (NCSP).</p><p>We have invested around 10% of this in improving the capabilities of law enforcement to respond to cyber crime. The National Cyber Crime Unit in the National Crime Agency has undertaken high profile operations in the last few months to tackle some of the most serious cases of malware, responsible for infecting computers and stealing banking and other information. This work was undertaken in conjunction with our international partners, to tackle those cyber criminals operating internationally.</p><p>We are also working to support the public and industry in better protecting themselves from this type of criminality. The NCSP funds the Cyber Streetwise awareness campaign, which encourages the public and Small and Medium Enterprises to adopt safer online behaviour.</p><p>The second phase of the campaign will launch shortly, including a refreshed website with further advice and support. In December last year, the Government also published a set of Guiding Principles with Internet Service Providers which agreed minimum standards for supporting their customers to stay safe online.</p><p>The Government also funds Action Fraud, the central reporting point for fraud and financially-motivated cyber crime.
