Initiatives are based in London, Leeds, Bristol, Worcester, Salford and Essex. A number of these initiatives have a national reach, including online platforms that can be accessed by individuals across the UK.</p><p> </p><p>Approximately 170 individuals were either participating or had been identified to take part in the seven CSIIF pilot initiatives as of end of October 2018. Five of those initiatives have commenced in full and two continue to identify participants. The winners of the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s Creative Industries Clusters Fund are due to be announced this month; both the Audiences of the Future programme and the Cultural Development Fund are underway; and further detail on the DCMS funded Creative Careers and Investment Readiness programmes are to be published shortly. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/11/2018 answer text <p>The music industry is a major success story for the UK and the government recognises the importance of the continued mobility of talented individuals and groups to support cultural and creative cooperation and the continued growth of the sector.</p><p> </p><p>Recognising the depth of the UK-EU relationship, the UK is seeking reciprocal mobility arrangements with the EU in a defined number of areas, for example to allow business professionals to provide services, or tourists to continue to travel visa-free. This is in line with the arrangements that the UK might want to offer other close trading partners in future, where they support new and deep trade deals. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government published its Future Telecoms Infrastructure Review (FTIR) in July 2018, setting out its strategy for delivering its target for a nationwide full fibre broadband network by 2033. On 29 October, DCMS published two of the consultations promised in the FTIR, on new legislation to reform existing access agreement arrangements to provide a right of entry for communication providers in cases of absentee landlords, and to ensure full fibre connections to new build developments. At Budget, the Government also announced £200m from the National Productivity Investment Fund (NPIF) to further support the deployment of full fibre to the commercially most difficult to reach premises. In its October Connected Nations report, Ofcom confirmed that full fibre coverage had reached 1.4 million premises in May 2018, up from less than 900,000 premises in May 2017. Between them, these employers voluntarily disclosed arrears of £786,038 owed to 4869 workers.</del></p><p><ins class="ministerial">In 2015/16 819 employers were issued with a Notice of Underpayment (NoU), and of this number, 814 were issued with a penalty. The combined penalties issued to these employers totalled £1,780,367.</ins></p><p><ins class="ministerial">5 employers were issued with an NoU but no penalty because they had either gone into liquidation or had otherwise ceased trading, or because an Employment Tribunal had issued a judgment that no financial penalty should be imposed. Collectively these employers owed £57,603 to 30 workers. </ins></p><p><ins class="ministerial">A further 145 employers found to have underpaid their workers were not issued with a NoU or a penalty. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/09/2016 answer text <p>In 2015/16 a total of 145 employers found to be non-compliant with National Minimum Wage (NMW) legislation were not issued with a Notice of Underpayment (NoU) or a financial penalty for any of the arrears they owed.</p><p>56 of these employers voluntarily disclosed arrears of £742,587 owed to 4875 workers through the campaign announced by HM Revenue &amp; Customs on 29 July 2015.</p><p>83 of these employers, owing a combined total of £841,282 to 8768 workers, were not issued with an NoU or penalty for other reasons. For instance, HMRC will not issue a notice of underpayment where complainant workers have entered into a compromise agreement with the employer, or in cases where pay liabilities have been transferred to a new employer under the terms of the Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) Regulations (1981).</p><p>In addition, HMRC were also notified in 2015/16 of a further 6 employers who owed £482,005 of arrears to 412 workers. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/08/2016 answer text <p>My Rt hon Friend the Member for Bromsgrove (Sajid Javid) visited Redcar on 2 October 2015 following the announcement of the liquidation of Sahaviriya Steel Industries UK (SSI).</p><p> </p><p>The then Secretary of State announced a support package worth up to £80 million for former employees affected by the closure. He was accompanied by the then Minister for Small Businesses, Industry and Enterprise, Anna Soubry.</p><p> </p><p>The Minister for Small Businesses, Industry and Enterprise then attended the Redcar taskforce on 21 March 2016.</p><p> </p><p>In his previous role as Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, my Rt hon Friend met the Mayor and Leaders of the five Tees Valley authorities on the following dates: 15 July 2015 (a joint meeting with James Wharton), 23 March 2016, 7 June 2016 (to launch Lord Heseltine’s report <em>Tees Valley: opportunity unlimited</em>) and 12 July 2016.
