These will be give young people the skills, qualifications and self-discipline needed to turn their back on crime and become productive members of society.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, a competition is underway for new contracts which will aim to more than double the number of hours young people in Young Offenders Institutions spend in education each week.</p><p> </p><p>Evidence relating to education in custody has been included in recent publications by the Ministry of Justice and Youth Justice Board (YJB). 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/11/2014 answer text <p>Schools and local authorities are responsible for the recruitment of their supply teachers and deciding whether they use private agencies to recruit and employ them. If a supply teacher is employed by a private agency or their umbrella company, this is a private commercial arrangement between the school and agency.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Department for Education does not provide guidance on tax and unemployment matters.
