These reports are deeply concerning, and it is essential that the UN investigates them fully. The UK strongly condemns Houthi missile attacks on Saudi Arabia, including the ballistic missile attempt of 4 November. Such attacks prolong the conflict in Yemen, fuel regional tensions and undermine UN efforts to reach a political solution.</p><p>The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and associated entities are known to be involved in multiple regional conflicts, including operating through proxies. The Foreign Secretary has discussed the situation with the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia and Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman several times in recent weeks, most recently with the Crown Prince on 19 December. We welcome the Coalition's announcement on 20 December that Hodeidah port will reopen for both humanitarian and commercial supplies, including fuel and food. On 20 December, the Prime Minister discussed this announcement with King Salman and Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/12/2017 answer text <p>For the current financial year (2017/18), Voluntary Service Overseas is set to receive a total income of £47,846,000 from DFID for implementing programme work. The two largest programmes that VSO deliver are International Citizen Service (ICS) (£26,570,000) and Volunteering for Development (V4D) (£17,000,000). ICS enables around 6,000 young people per year to contribute to poverty reduction through 12 week projects overseas, which builds their awareness of poverty issues and their personal skills, enabling them to contribute as active citizens when they return to the UK. V4D mobilises around 1,300 mid to late career professionals per year from the health, education and business sectors to volunteer overseas on long term placements.
