	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 11/04/2016 answer text <p><del class="ministerial">The first 12 months of each refugee’s resettlement costs under the Syrian Vulnerable Persons Resettlement (VPR) Scheme will be funded using Official Development Assistance. The WEEE Directive implements the principle of “extended producer responsibility”. Under this principle, producers are required to take financial responsibility for the environmental impact of the products that they place on the market, specifically when those products become waste. It seeks to reduce the amount of such waste going to landfill by encouraging separate collection and subsequent treatment, re-use, recovery, recycling and environmentally sound disposal.</p><p> </p><p>Large suppliers involved in the smart meter rollout have developed their own strategies for the safe recycling or disposal of gas and electricity meters. People must be free to gather together and to demonstrate their views, provided that they do so within the law.</p><p> </p><p>But protestors' rights must be balanced with the rights of others to go about their business without fear of intimidation or serious disruption to the community. However, support for solar comes directly from consumer bills; as costs fall, it is vital that we control the impact on bills and move towards subsidy-free solar deployment. We recognise the efforts that the solar industry is making to adapt to the revised Feed-in-Tariff (FIT) scheme.</p><p> </p><p>It is too early to assess the impact of the policy changes, but there are promising signs, with more than 160MW of solar deployed under the revised FIT scheme. Many of those who work in solar are also skilled in other building trades, and will move between these with changes in demand.
