Our concerns are reflected in the latest update to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office annual human rights report. We continue to urge Pakistan to honour in practice all its human rights obligations and uphold the rule of law. During his visit to Pakistan in March, the former Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, my right hon. Friend the Member for Runnymede and Weybridge (Mr Hammond), raised the importance we attach to safeguarding the rights of all Pakistani citizens regardless of ethnicity, faith or gender. more like this

This data would need to be collected by individual prisons at a disproportionate cost.</p><p>As part of our fundamental review of policy relating to pregnancy, Mother and Baby Units and maternal separation from children up to two in prison, we committed to providing national pregnancy data in the future. The ‘HMPPS Annual Digest, April 2020 to March 2021’ was published on 29 July 2021 and this contains the latest published figures relating to pregnant prisoners. This data is, however, provided as a national snapshot. star this property answer text <p>The UK has not been training the Burmese army. This is prohibited under the EU Arms Embargo which we have supported. The UK was instrumental in the renewal of this measure earlier this year.</p><p>The UK announced the suspension of our practical defence cooperation with Burma on 19 September until there is an acceptable resolution to the current situation in Rakhine. This cooperation consisted of educational courses focused on governance, accountability, ethics, human rights and international law. The UK has not provided any form of combat training to the Burmese Military.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Department has had no discussions with NHS England regarding the July 2023 meeting of the Data, Digital and Technology Committee, or regarding the Advisory Group for Data’s (AGD) request that the version control on its draft terms of reference be updated to reflect the full circulation of the document, as well as the timing of the circulation.</p><p>The role of the advisory group is set out within the statutory guidance issued by the Department, in <em>NHS England’s protection of patient data</em>. We understand that the terms of reference for the AGD are currently in draft, with version control reflecting formal drafts as issued. NHS England, through the Privacy, Transparency and Trust team in the Delivery Directorate, has received feedback on the drafts, which will be published in due course following approval by, or on behalf of, the NHS England board.</p> more like this
