star this property answer text <p>In January 2020, the then Minister for the Cabinet Office and the Minister for Patient Safety met campaigners representing the people infected and affected, and campaigners raised a number of issues about the support that would assist them outside of the Inquiry process. Ministers have committed to looking at these issues carefully, including to consider a request to look at a framework for compensation before the Inquiry reports, and to report back on where progress can be made. The Paymaster General is the lead Minister for the Inquiry and is taking forward these actions.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Italy is leading the planning for a Libya International Assistance Mission which is intended to provide training to Libyan security forces in response to a formal request made by the Libyan Government of National Accord. The mission is not designed to provide security for the Libyan Government.</p><p>The capabilities, troop numbers and objectives for any potential deployment are not yet sufficiently developed and will be further refined once a request for support has been received and the requirement becomes clear. star this property answer text <p>Decisions on whether an assessment can be undertaken based on the paper evidence alone, or via a face-to-face consultation, are made by a Healthcare Professional on a case by case basis and are not dependent on a claimant’s condition, except for those people who are applying under the terminally ill provisions. Most people will be required to attend a face-to-face consultation except where Healthcare Professionals consider that there is sufficient existing information to carry out an assessment based on the paper evidence, or where there is strong evidence to indicate that a face-to-face consultation is likely to be stressful for the claimant.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this

All Assessment Centres are compliant with the Equality Act 2010.
