	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/09/2017 answer text <p>DWP has worked with the Hidden Impairment National Group (HING) to develop the Hidden Impairment Toolkit, which offers information on how to best support people with Autism.</p><p> </p><p>DWP is an active member of the Autism Programme Board (APB), responsible for the cross-government implementation of the Think Autism strategy. <strong>DWP</strong> also helped to develop a Disability Passport - About Me - to support people with autism who are seeking jobs.</p><p> </p><p>DWP worked with Autism Alliance UK to deliver an Autism training programme, to over 1200 staff members in Jobcentre Plus, and to develop an Autism and Neuro-diversity toolkit which is available across the Civil Service.</p><p> </p><p>Finally, Improving Lives – the Work, Health and Disability Green Paper’ sets out the Government’s proposals for improving work and health outcomes for disabled people and people with long-term health conditions, including people with autism. The Department is aware of a political meeting between my Rt Hon Friend the member for Witham and Lord Polak held on its premises on 27 July 2016. In addition, the Department holds a record of my Rt Hon Friend the Member for Witham being in attendance at two events outside of the Department I understand Lord Polak was also present at. These were a Conservative Party dinner on 27 September 2017 and a Parliamentary Reception of the Conservative Friends of Israel on 24 January 2017. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/05/2019 answer text <p>Air Commodore Clarke was a great friend and ambassador of the Royal Air Force and a truly remarkable man.</p><p> </p><p>Air Commodore Clarke was a member of a World War Two Lancaster aircrew, and one of the last surviving prisoners of the Stalag Luft III Prisoner of War camp in Poland at the time of the great escape.</p><p> </p><p>Following a distinguished career in the RAF, he worked tirelessly as Chairman of the Bomber Command Association, not to mention his support for the RAF Association, RAF Benevolent Fund and the Air Cadets. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/12/2016 answer text <p>Appeals generally are against the original award decision and in many cases would be to adjust a successful award to a higher level rather than being against a nil decision.</p><p> </p><p>Appeals to the Upper Tribunal can only be made where a decision is believed to be erroneous in law; appeals cannot be made solely on the facts.</p><p> </p><p>From 1 November 2015 to 31 October 2016 the Department made 215 applications to appeal a First-tier Tribunal decision relating to Personal Independence Payment (PIP) to the Upper Tribunal.</p><p> </p><p>During that period, 69 of the Department’s applications for appeal on PIP were successful, resulting in the decision being remitted to another First-tier Tribunal hearing.</p><p> </p><p>The Department’s applications are submitted in line with The Tribunal Procedure (First-tier Tribunal) (Social Entitlement Chamber) Rules 2008, Rules 34(4) and 38(3)(a). The Department has one month to request the Statement of Reasons following the issue of a Tribunal decision.
