Going forward we are making a record level £2.3 billion capital commitment, investing in more than 1,400 schemes to improving defences; a further 9% real terms average increase. It was not analytically robust and was not signed off by Ministers. It has not been published and we have no plans to do so.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>My department is responsible for the environmental aspects of this policy.
