The UK Shared Prosperity Fund will strengthen the foundations of productivity as set out in our modern Industrial Strategy to support people to benefit from economic prosperity. This new Fund will ensure that investments are targeted effectively to align with the challenges faced by places, creating a fresh opportunity to focus investment according to our own priorities. We are continuing to work on the design and priorities and we will consult widely on the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. This will give all interested parties the chance to contribute their views to Government. Final decisions are due to be made during the Spending Review.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>Following the 2014 European Parliamentary election, the Electoral Commission identified, in its statutory election report, that the system for citizens of other EU member states to register to vote in future European elections in the UK could be simplified. It specifically highlighted that legislation could be changed so that EU citizens would not need to complete more than one electoral registration form. Commission staff subsequently met Cabinet Office officials, together with representatives from EU citizens’ organisations, to consider the practical implications of this and other options for amending the law.</p> more like this
