The estimate produced in 2010 was based on evidence from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), combined with a number of other assumptions and should be treated as indicative only.</p><p> </p><p>If an intern is classified as a “worker”, they are entitled to at least the National Minimum Wage from day one of their employment.</p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p>Throughout the period between 2004 and 2014 the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) and the Department for Trade and Industry (and its successors) agreed that the original classification of the FRC as a public body should, if possible, be revised. The Department worked with the FRC to seek its reclassification from the Office for National Statistics on a number of occasions. The justification for this was based on wider Government policy on public bodies and the development of the FRC’s functions.</p> more like this

UK Finance are clear that the High Street Lenders are prepared to have these measures in place as long as needed to deal with the cash flow difficulties that solvent members of the Carillion supply chain are dealing with in the immediate aftermath of the collapse. Where appropriate, lenders are contacting customers and are putting in place emergency measures, including overdraft extensions, payment holidays and fee waivers to ensure those facing short term issues can be helped to stay on track. unstar this property answer text <p>The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has not made an official estimate of the amount of investment required each year to meet the target for as many homes as possible to be brought up to EPC Band C by 2035. The amount of investment will depend on the measures installed to achieve this energy efficiency level, which will also depend on the policies to encourage their uptake, and the impact of innovation investment on driving down cost and bringing forward new technologies.</p><p> </p><p>The Department is currently undertaking this analysis and will publish these estimates in due course. The forthcoming call for evidence on EPCs will be a valuable addition to the evidence of how we can reach this target.</p> more like this
