	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 16/01/2018 answer text We regularly raise our concerns about the rights to freedom of expression, association and assembly with the Egyptian authorities; these rights are essential to improving the protection of Freedom of Religion or Belief in Egypt. The Egyptian constitution contains protections for Freedom of Religious Belief and it is important that these rights are respected. In particular, we welcome President Sisi's consistent calls for peaceful coexistence between Christians and Muslims in Egypt. The UK has also been working with al-Azhar University in Egypt for over ten years to help develop a new generation of religious leaders who can build dialogue across different cultures and religions, and confront extremism. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/01/2018 answer text <p>​We are gravely concerned by the proposals to demolish around 30% of the structures in the West Bank village of Susiya. Senior officials most recently raised the planned demolitions in Susiya with the Israeli Ambassador to London on 8 January. I visited Susiya and discussed the threat of forcible transfer with the Susiya Bedouin community on 21 August 2017 during my visit to the Occupied Palestinian Territories. We encourage Israel to cease its counter-productive policy of demolitions, and provide a transparent route to construction for Palestinians in Area C of the West Bank. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/01/2018 answer text <p>UK funding contributes to the salaries of individual vetted health and education Palestinian Authority (PA) public servants on the EU Palestinian-European Socio-Economic Management Assistance Mechanism (PEGASE) list, including PA teachers in the West Bank. It is the PA’s responsibility to deploy these vetted public servants to schools in the West Bank as they see fit. UK funding enables around 25,000 young Palestinians to receive an education annually. The UK government strongly condemns all forms of violence and hatred. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/01/2018 answer text <p>The Rohingya Emergency Vulnerability Assessment was conducted in December 2017 by the World Food Programme (WFP). This found households receiving food rationing are much less likely to apply negative coping strategies, including child marriage or sexual exploitation, than those who are not. DFID has no evidence to suggest this assessment is incorrect.</p><p>To reduce the risk of child marriage, sexual exploitation and abuse taking place, DFID is supporting awareness-raising, increased outreach, feedback channels, and complaints-handling procedures. The UK’s role in negotiations ahead of the Referendum was covered during my evidence to the Foreign Affairs Committee on 9 January. Our flexible working policy provides employees with caring responsibility the ability to combine and balance personal and work responsibilities, and our leave policy includes discretion to approve longer term leave to help employees where there is a need to respond to a life changing event that requires them to take on more or new caring responsibilities. DFID’s counselling service in the form of an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is available to all employees who need personal support for a range of issues, including work stress, coping with change, depression, marriage/relationship issues, legal concerns, parenting issues, financial problems and more. This service is available 24 hours per day, 365 days a year. DFID employees also have access to a variety of valuable networks.
