unstar this property answer text <p>The Government has no plans to introduce a cap on the amount private lotteries can raise for charities. The existing protections in the Gambling Act 2005, including no external advertising and limitation to single sites only, will continue to apply.</p><p>There were 16 responses to the Legislative Reform (Exempt Lotteries) Order 2015 consultation.
