Successful bids are those that are approved directly by the Commission or by the UK National Agency and ratified by the Commission. These visitors spent £128 million in Nottinghamshire, up 23% on the previous year.</p><p> </p><p>VisitBritain and VisitEngland are responsible for promoting the UK as a tourist destination, through a range of different initiatives and campaigns. VisitBritain receive annual grant-in-aid totalling £19.4m from DCMS and VisitEngland receive £7m.</p><p> </p><p>The Discover England Fund, administered by VisitEngland, has invested in the development of tourism product across the East Midlands area. They operate under a legal framework with limits on the size of individual draws, the annual receipts and the size of the prize on offer. All large society lotteries are regulated as gambling products, and as such are regulated by the Gambling Commission. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 25/03/2019 answer text <p>The minimum bid to the Tampon Tax Fund was set at £1 million in December 2017, with the launch of the 2018-2019 round of funding to achieve a more cohesive and strategic approach to addressing the issues facing vulnerable and excluded women across the UK.</p><p> </p><p>To ensure that smaller organisations were not disadvantaged by this change we also encouraged applications from organisations whose projects included making onward grants.
