British scientists are participating in scientific expeditions to the Weddell Sea during this Antarctic season, and in a series of international scientific workshops and meetings, to further develop the scientific case for the MPA proposal. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/04/2018 answer text <p>​The ongoing conflict makes humanitarian access and delivery of aid into and within Yemen extremely difficult. We urge all parties to the conflict to take all reasonable steps to allow and facilitate rapid, safe and unhindered humanitarian access, as called for in the two UN Security Council Presidential Statements that the UK sponsored and coordinated in June 2017 and March 2018. This has been a constant theme of our engagement with the Saudi authorities. The UK played a leading role in persuading the Saudi-led Coalition to ease access restrictions on Hodeidah and Saleef ports, imposed after a Houthi ballistic missile was launched at Riyadh on 4 November. During the recent visit to London of Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman, the UK and Saudi Arabia reaffirmed their commitment to work together to strengthen the inspection mechanism of the UN's Verification and Inspection Mechanism (UNVIM) to ensure that all Yemeni ports can remain fully open to commercial and humanitarian supplies. The UK is providing £1.3 million this financial year to UNVIM, and has deployed UK maritime experts to Djibouti to boost the inspections process. At the Wales summit the UK confirmed in principle an annual financial contribution of £70 million to help train the ANSF until at least 2017. This is part of an overall commitment from the international community of around $5 billion per year for the next three years. However, the Government is committed to raising standards of animal welfare at home and abroad. The sale and consumption of dog meat is legal in many countries, including China, and there are no international norms, laws or agreements governing this. We believe that it is necessary to work with governments around the world to gain agreement on animal welfare standards, and to phase out cruel and inhumane practices. The UK has welcomed this move towards improved accountability and governance.</p><p> </p><p>Twenty four sets of accounts for common funded expenditure by NATO and its agencies for 2013 have been completed. The International Board of Auditors for NATO (IBAN) has finalised its audit for all but one. Three of the financial audit reports completed by IBAN were published in September 2014. A further three reports should be published in the coming weeks. NATO expects IBAN to audit the remaining accounts by the end of April 2015. The North Atlantic Council will make decisions on the public release of the remaining audit reports before the end of July 2015. NATO’s policy to release unclassified or declassified financial information was only agreed in January 2015 but it is not retrospective which is why none of the 2013 statements have been published so far.</p><p> </p><p>The 2014 financial statements are currently being finalised but have yet to be audited.
