	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 01/09/2014 answer text <p>We receive regular representations on the right to self-determination of the Palestinian people, including from governments, NGOs, and members of the public. The UK Government’s long-standing position is that we support a negotiated settlement leading to a safe and secure Israel living alongside a viable and sovereign Palestinian state, based on 1967 borders with agreed land swaps, Jerusalem as the shared capital of both states, and a just, fair and agreed settlement for refugees.
