star this property answer text <p>The Immigration Enforcement National Command and Control Unit (IE NCCU) is the IE 24/7 point of contact for all UK Police Forces. The unit is staffed by Immigration Officers who provide advice on the immigration status of individuals. When appropriate the team initiate immigration enforcement action, safeguard vulnerable individuals, refer cases to and signpost Police partners to other Home Office Teams. NCCU is also the central point of contact for IE critical incident coordination.</p><p>The following partners have varying levels of access/services through the NCCU:</p><ul><li>UK Police Forces</li><li>HM Revenue and Customs</li><li>Judiciary, including the Procurator Fiscal</li><li>Local Safeguarding Children Partnerships</li><li>National Crime Agency</li><li>Unseen (Modern Slavery Helpline)</li></ul><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>A number of economic routes offer accelerated settlement for main applicants, including Tier 1 (Exceptional Talent), Tier 1 Investor and the Innovator route. However in all cases the qualifying period for non-EEA family members remains five years, regardless of the time it takes for the main applicant to settle.</p><p>The current policy is intended to ensure that our provisions are in line with the qualifying period for non-EEA family members of a British Citizen.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Home Office statistics are kept under review in line with the Code of Practice for Statistics, taking account of user needs. This includes requesting feedback in all our regular quarterly and annual statistical publications, as well as via the annual Migration Statistics User Forum conference, and the cross government improving migration and population statistics programme of work led by ONS.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, we monitor the demand for Home Office statistics received through Parliamentary questions, Freedom of Information requests, requests from other government departments, stakeholders and the press.</p><p> </p><p>We will be publishing the first quarterly statistical report on the EU Settlement Scheme, alongside our quarterly Immigration Statistics in August 2019, with a dedicated mechanism for providing feedback on the publication.</p> more like this
