When I met the President of South Sudan on 13 August I reaffirmed the UK's support for the people of South Sudan. I urged President Kiir to take the steps necessary to form a government of national unity, as set out in the peace agreement. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/07/2020 answer text <ul><li><p>The Government has committed to developing an Integrated Rail Plan (IRP) which will look at how to deliver Phase 2b of HS2, Northern Powerhouse Rail and other Network Rail programmes better and more effectively, ensuring the benefits are brought to the North and Midlands as quickly and efficiently as possible.</p></li><li><p>The Golborne Link is part of the current plans for the western leg of Phase 2b of HS2.</p></li><li><p>The Golborne Link is being considered as part of the IRP, which will assess the Link’s benefits, costs and the best way to serve the North West of England and Scotland.</p></li><li><p>We expect the findings of the IRP to be published by the end of this year.
