	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/08/2014 answer text <p>Under previous arrangements, Official Service Residences (OSRs, colloquially known as ‘grace and favour’ residencies) were provided for senior officers in certain posts which required them to undertake official hospitality for Defence purposes. As announced by the then Minister for Personnel, Welfare and Veterans (Andrew Robathan) on 12 December 2011 (Official Report, column 63WS), these arrangements have been discontinued. Properties which were formerly categorised as OSRs are being phased out on a rolling basis as personnel retire or move on to other posts. However, senior officers remain entitled to Service Family Accommodation (Type 1 or Type 2). In addition, the Department is undertaking an ongoing review into domestic assistance policy to ensure that the level of support provided to senior entitled officers is appropriate and driven by a clear business need. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/07/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>Tables containing the information requested have been placed in the Library of the House. <br> <br></p><p> </p><p>The volumes of pre-charge decisions, prosecutions and convictions rose in 2013-14 from the previous year, across rape, domestic violence and child abuse. The Crown Prosecution Service has worked with the police to address the previous fall in volumes which they identified in 2012-13; succeeding in an overall turnaround during 2013-14.</p><p> </p><p>The conviction rates for domestic violence and child abuse have risen to 74.6% and 76.2% respectively in 2013-14.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>In parallel, cautions fell to the lowest level ever for rape and domestic violence in the same time period; and decisions to take no further action also reached the lowest level ever for rape and child abuse.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>For rape, the volume of pre-charge decisions rose by 8% compared with the previous year, reaching 5,850. Decisions to take no further action fell to the lowest level ever - by 15% as compared with a rise in the volume charged of 25%, reaching the highest volume ever of 3,621 defendants. As there were no central reporting requirements, there is no equivalent alcohol funding figure.</p><p> </p><p>As part of conditions attached to the Public Health Grant, the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) requires local authorities to report projected and actual spend on an annual basis. There are categories for spending on adult drug treatment, adult alcohol treatment and young people's substance misuse interventions.</p><p> </p><p>Local authority spending forecasts against these categories in 2013-14 have been published by the DCLG. The figures are available in the table ‘Revenue account (RA) budget 2013 to 2014', which has been placed in the library and is also available on the gov.uk website:</p><p> </p><p>https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/local-authority-revenue-expenditure-and-financing-england-2013-to-2014-individual-local-authority-data</p><p> </p><p>However, not all local authorities submitted their forecasts, so these figures are incomplete.
