star this property answer text <p>To support the speech, language and communication elements of the Healthy Child Programme (HCP), Public Health England (PHE) is partnering with the Department for Education to develop a model speech, language and communication pathway for services for children aged zero to five years. The pathway is built on the best evidence and good practice and will be published by September 2019. This will support local joint commissioning and service provision.</p><p> </p><p>The ‘Healthy Child Programme 0-19 (HCP): the health visitor and school nurses commissioning guidance’ was refreshed in March 2018 and is available to view at the following link:</p><p> </p><p><a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/healthy-child-programme-0-to-19-health-visitor-and-school-nurse-commissioning" target="_blank">https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/healthy-child-programme-0-to-19-health-visitor-and-school-nurse-commissioning</a></p><p> </p><p>The guidance supports local commissioning and delivery of the HCP and the delivery of the HCP, including the speech, language and communication elements.</p>

star this property answer text <p>The Primary Medical Care Policy and Guidance Manual for local commissioners managing general practitioner (GP) services is clear on inclusion in registration for GP services. People do not need to provide proof of address to register with a general practice.</p><p> </p><p>We are aware, via Refugee Action, of instances where individual practices may have excluded patients with no documentation from registering with a GP. NHS England are raising these issues with local commissioners to ensure appropriate and targeted action, including training/education, reinforced if required by contractual action, to prevent a recurrence.</p> more like this

The Government is working with likeminded countries to lobby the World Health Organization (WHO) at official level to issue an invitation to Taiwan to observe the World Health Assembly (WHA) in May.</p><p> </p><p>The United Kingdom continues to support Taiwan’s meaningful participation in international organisations where statehood is not a prerequisite and where Taiwan can make a valuable contribution. The UK believes the WHA and related technical meetings of the WHO meet these criteria.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>One of the nine ambitions for change set out in ‘Contained and controlled: The UK’s 20-year vision for antimicrobial resistance’, published on 24 January 2019, is to minimise infections in humans and animals. Optimising the use of effective vaccines will be critical in achieving this ambition.</p><p> </p><p>The United Kingdom’s five-year national action plan for antimicrobial resistance (AMR) includes commitments to stimulate more research into vaccines and promote broader access to vaccines for humans and animals.</p><p> </p><p>A new Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) Healthcare Associated Infections Working Group, set up to review and provide preliminary advice to JCVI on the potential use of appropriate vaccines in the UK, will provide advice on the development of better tools to estimate and quantify the potential impact of vaccines in reducing the long-term burden of AMR.</p><p> </p><p>In addition, the UK supports the delivery and uptake of vaccines overseas through UK Aid programmes, including the Global AMR Innovation Fund, the Fleming Fund and the UK Vaccine Network.</p>
